● Item Introduction

Enjoy operating the 8000 Series 'Shiokaze / Ishizuchi' while imagining the scenic views of the Seto Inland Sea.

● The JR Shikoku 8000 Series is a tilting express-type DC train and serves as the flagship for the rapid modernization of the Yosan Line to compete with the expanding highway network, operating the 'Shiokaze / Ishizuchi' service between Okayama/Takamatsu and Matsuyama. Features the attractive sound of the Toshiba-made GTO-VVVF control system unique to the 'unmodified' cars from the second renewal starting in 2023.

◆ The 'sound-synchronized' type, i.e. the vehicle speed changes in accordance with the sound of acceleration and deceleration, is also equipped with a 'synchronization setting save' function. Once set to controller priority mode, the mode will be maintained until manually cancelled, easy to navigate for beginners as well.

⑥ When the sound box is powered off, the previous synchronization mode is saved, and the setting is maintained during the next startup, thanks to the 'synchronization setting save' function
