Deluxe DAPX Dairyland Coalporters three car set (SKU 238-122503)

Dairyland Power is one of several Wisconsin based utilities who use Powder River Basin Coal. Solid trains of DAPX cars are flood loaded at the giant silos in Wyoming and run home to the Dairy State. These cars have an electric blue rotary end and black slope sheet supports on the other end. We are cooperating with the folks at Atlas Model Railroad Company to time this release to come out shortly after the release by Atlas of Dairyland Power ACF Coalveyors. The Atlas cars, which are a considerably different design, are painted black with blue ends. Atlas is releasing their car in 12 road numbers and deLuxe is releasing this car in 12 numbers (a single, 2 pack, 3 pack, and 6 pack.) This way, modelers can assemble a Dairyland Power unit train with a mixture of both CoalPorters and Coalveyors in a total of 24 different road numbers. Put some variety in your unit train...
