Available On: August 1, 2025

● Item Introduction
The 209-500 Series was introduced in 1998 for operation on the Chuo and Sobu Local lines.
● It is characterized by a wider body, designed to increase transport capacity compared to the existing 209 Series. In 2008, four of the trains were transferred to the Keiyo Line, but as the successor E233-5000 Series was introduced, three of these sets were transferred to the Musashino Line. The remaining one is still in service today, after having some equipment updates.
◆ The 209-500 Series, the longest-serving train on the Keiyo Line, is now available in N-gauge! You can enjoy scenes featuring the E233-5000 Series, which ran on the same line, along with various other trains it shared tracks with on the Uchibo and Sotobu lines.
