The EMU3000 is the latest limited express train operated by Taiwan Railways Corporation, and it entered service at the end of 2021, serving as Taiwan Railway’s flagship model.

Developed under the design concept of "Future Renaissance", a project initiated in 2019 to revitalize Taiwan Raiway’s visual identity, the EMU3000 was created with the motto “Let’s build a limited express train Kato (Japan) can proudly show to the world.” Its modern design features a clean, monotone base color accented by a colored stripe above each door, symbolizing innovation and sophistication.

Each train is composed of 12 cars, each 20 meters in length. Notably, Car No. 6 includes a premium carriage which is named ”騰雲座艙” ( Téng Yún Zuò Cāng), offering an elevated travel experience.
