● Item Introduction

The EF210-300 is a powerful DC electric freight locomotive used mainly on Japan’s Tokaido and Sanyo Main Lines. Compared to the earlier EF210-100, this version features a longer body (+400mm), larger shock-absorbing couplers, and a redesigned front skirt. Its distinctive yellow side stripe and the iconic “Momotaro” character graphic make it a standout addition to any modern freight layout.

◆ This reissue includes traction tires for added pulling power—ideal for long freight trains. While the specs are unchanged from previous releases, the JAN code and price have been updated. A starter set featuring the EF210-300 and Koki 107 container flatcars is also being re-released. The included 40-foot high-cube containers from ONE (Ocean Network Express) feature the bold “ONE” logo in a new gray color scheme exclusive to this release.

◆ The Koki 107 cars have also been updated to match current prototypes: JRF logos, no-shunting warnings, and inspection marks have been removed. A new three-car container set will be available at the same time—perfect for building or expanding a contemporary freight consist!

EF210 Container Train 3-Car Set

① The set features the EF210-300 as main freight locomotive.

② The product specifications are equivalent to the 3092-1 EF210-300 model, with installed details including release levers, handrails, lightning arrestor, train radio antenna, whistle, and signal flare pipe.

③ The freight cars include two Koki 107 cars (Koki 107-1296 and Koki 107-1597). Their specifications are equivalent to those included in the 10-1963 Koki 104+107 (without JRF mark) 10-car set with no containers loaded. Reflectors for Koki 107 are included.

Details:

• Modern appearance with JRF mark, no-shunting warning, and inspection markings removed.
• Loaded containers include one 40-foot high-cube container (gray) featuring the large “ONE” logo, and six familiar 19D containers (new paint scheme).
