Built in 1947 Rio Grande caboose 01450 emerged in the all black paint scheme.  It received the single piece safety glass with rubber seal windows and the new 4-stripe orange and silver paint scheme in August 1956.  Other modifications include 1962 roof vents, 1978 track and marker lights, and 1979 roller bearing trucks.  (John Tudek).  The 01450 is one of only a couple Rio Grande cabooses to keep the 4-stripe scheme into retirement.  The Trainworx model represents the 01450 as it appeared after having the roller bering trucks installed.
