Item Introduction

The DD13 was Japan’s first domestically produced shunting diesel locomotive, built between 1958 and 1967 with a total of 416 units. It pioneered the use of hydraulic transmissions in mainline locomotives and helped modernize yards nationwide by eliminating smoke.

Now, a new sound card brings the DD13 to life with immersive audio. Realistic running sounds, including flange squeal, coupling and uncoupling effects, allow you to recreate freight lines, sidings, and yard operations.

Easy to use with a memory function for controller settings and perfect for hobbyists and collectors.
