Item Introduction

● The “Seven Stars in Kyushu” train is Japan’s first full-scale cruise train, and began operation on October 15, 2013, under the concept “A journey where you encounter a new life” . It tours scenic destinations throughout Kyushu and has gained immense popularity not only among passengers but also among people living along its routes. The train consists of an 8-car formation made up of seven 77 series 7000 type passenger cars and the dedicated DF200-7000 locomotive. In October 2022, the dining car (Car No. 2) was converted into a salon and a new tearoom was added, while a gallery shop and bar were installed in Car No. 3.
