The 14 Series coaches were introduced in Showa 47 (1972) as passenger cars equipped to a level comparable with limited-express rolling stock, featuring simple reclining seats and heat-absorbing glass for the passenger compartment windows. They were used in a wide range of services, including special limited-express trains, charter/group trains, and express services, operating mainly in Honshu and Kyushu.

◆ This lineup of 14 series coaches allows you to recreate JNR-era passenger trains. They can be combined with various JNR locomotives, such as the ED75-0 Late Stage model <3075-5> or EF65 1000 Early Stage model <3089-3>.
