Designed to haul lightweight but bulky wood chip loads from sawmills and other lumber-related industries to paper mills, the WalthersMainline HO Scale 36' Wood Chip Hopper is based on prototypes used from the 1960s through the 1980s. These cars were converted from older two-bay hoppers with added upper body extensions. They’re perfect for serving logging, paper, and related industries.

Each model comes fully assembled and equipped with:

• Correct 33" turned-metal wheelsets
• Separate factory-applied brakewheel
• Proto MAX metal knuckle couplers
