– NATX “White Lease Delivery 1963” introduces Tangent Scale Models NATX “plain white lease” paint scheme as applied to the tank car when built in 1963. While Tangent Scale Models call it a lease scheme, it is actually a “two tone” – white on top and black on the bottom of the tank body and on the end frames. These cars feature the Roman-style stenciling in white, which certainly “pops” against the white-painted carbody. Prominently displayed on this car: the classy “North American” parallelogram logo. Among many small stencils, the words “Liquified Petroleum Gas Only” is stenciled on the right side, confirming its service use, as well as a myriad of other accurate stenciling.
