● Item Introduction

The 383 Series is a tilting limited express EMU introduced by JR Central for the Limited Express "Shinano" service. Operating in a variety of 6-car, 4-car, and 2-car formations, it is distinguished by the streamlined KuRo 383 observation car at the Nagano end.

◆ Best enjoyed alongside other trains operating in the Aichi and Nagano regions! The separately available 383 Series "Shinano" Motor Unit 2 (28-142N) allows the MoHa 383-10 in the 4-Car Add-on Set to be motorized for even greater formation flexibility.
