● Item Introduction

The KiHa 58 Series represents the later production versions of JNR's classic diesel railcars, featuring distinctive panoramic front windows and front skirts. The KiRo 28 introduced a more modern body design shared with the KiHa 65. These vehicles remained in service throughout Japan from the JNR era into the JR period, operating in a wide variety of formations.

◆ A variety of formations can be recreated by combining different sets and other KiHa 58 Series models. The motorized chassis has been updated with a slotless motor for improved running performance.
