These 50’ box cars with double doors are painted McGinnis Orange with black sills; they bear black and white logos and are lettered in white. They were built in November 1956 by Pullman Standard and run on Bettendorf trucks. Only 15 double door cars were delivered to New Haven by Pullman Standard in November 1956. Series 40500-40514 came equipped with double Youngstown doors. Pullman Standard sold the remaining cars to the Chesapeake & Ohio complete with NH appliances.
