Car #1 The Union Pacific Insulated Boxcar was built at Omaha in 1959 and is painted in it's original, as delivered, orange paint scheme. the interior had compartmentizers for safe storage of products in transit. our model is using the Micro trains (38000 series) bodies with silver trucks, couplers and shanks.

Car #2 The Union Pacific Insulated Boxcar was built at Omaha in 1964 as Class BI-70-6 with glass wool insulation and keystone 20" cushioned under frames with DF Loaders. It is painted in it's, as delivered, paint scheme of Armour yellow, large UP shield with the UP tagline "We Can Handle It" and they surely can.
