Passenger shelters were a common site in North America everywhere there were commuter trains, or interurban lines. Our prototype was used by the British Columbia Electric Railway Company until the mid 1950s when the private company was taken over by the government. This company ran interurban lines throughout the Fraser Valley of BC from Vancouver to Chilliwack a distance of about 75 miles. Besides the usual features in all EXPRESS kits our model features a cast simulated wood base, cast roof supports and self adhesive rolled roofing. Its footprint is 3" wide x 1.5" deep.
