This box car red 40' flat car with white 'RIO GRANDE' speed lettering and white stenciling was built by American Car & Foundry in March 1956. It runs on black Bettendorf trucks. With a capacity of 100,000, and load limit of 115,800 they are typical examples of general purpose flat cars with simple decks and minimal amount of load securing equipment.
