Manufactured by Fairchild Semiconductor? as their MB1S, this little bridge rectifier is the perfect solution for lighting or other DC devices in N-scale rolling stock running on a DCC layout. Using a very simple circuit (see wiring tips), it will turn a pulsed DCC signal into DC to drive any device you might want to use, up to a full 1/2 AMP! Suppose you wanted to power our 3.6-volt 2x3 Super LEDs (our highest device voltage LEDs)... no problem! Using a 12-volt source, this bridge could handle 75 of them! If need be, the contact legs can be folded under the device to further reduce its footprint .
