Manufactured by Vishay Electronics and KOA Speer, two of the worlds largest makers of thick-film surface-mount (SMD) components, these tiny resistors provide the same power capabilities as their much larger axial-lead cousins.

We've greatly expanded our selection to include a wide variety of resistance values in 1/8, 1/4 and 1/2 watt sizes. The selection includes values specifically suited for current protection of our LEDs operating in either 9-volt, 12-volt, or 18-volt applications common to N, Z and HO-Scale DC and DCC, as well as values to allow the "tuning" of LED intensities for specific uses and projects.

The Usage tables link above provides a comprehensive selection guide and the Calculators link makes custom tuning of LEDs quick and easy. These resistors easily fit in the smallest spaces due to their flat, rectangular shape and miniature size.

The solder pads on each end are pre-tinned for easy connection.
