There are three big announcements that I want to call your attention to:

·         Kato USA will be producing a new N scale Amtrak Car – the Viewliner II Baggage Car. We have received a lot of demand for these new cars from modelers and anticipate them selling well as an addition to customers’ Amtrak Superliner and Amfleet train consists.

·         We have confirmed the re-production of the “George Bush” and “Spirit” SD70ACe locomotives, to be released in July 2019. We will be producing over the number that we received orders for so that we can continue to take orders to take care of any stragglers, but overall the response was very positive and we are happy to be able to bring this product to the market.

·         To accompany the George Bush SD70ACe, we will also be doing a new production run of the popular Union Pacific Excursion Train. As you may know, many of the cars in this train were used in the George Bush funeral train, which made it hotly demanded by modelers as soon as they found out that we were doing a new release of the George Bush unit. To accompany the Excursion Train re-release we will also be re-releasing the Union Pacific water tenders, for those modelers who wish to run the Excursion Train behind the FEF-3 Steam Excursion Locomotive (126-0401), which we still have available.

 

In addition to these major new announcements are some other points – 

·         Milwaukee Road Hiawatha car sets and locomotive sets, all versions including DC, DCC and DCC + Sound are available for order for delivery in late January.

·         We will be adding a new Starter Set to our N scale line up with the coming of the New paint version Chicago Metra F40PH engine, as well as temporarily discontinuing an old one as we no longer have the MP36PH locomotives available. Please see the Announcement sheet for details!

 

Along with the new announcements I have included our current Release Schedule, which covers from now until August 2019, as well as an updated copy of our N and HO in-stock list for Locomotives and Rolling Stock.

 

Finally, I have attached a copy of our most recent magazine advertisement – this is for the re-release of the N Scale F7 Freight “Starter Series” sets, which will be arriving at the end of this month. These are still available for order through your distributor if you wish to increase your quantities before they arrive!
