Starter Set Steam Locomotive/Freight Car Train

https://static.pwrs.ca/product_images/331793_1.jpg

■ A freight train pulled by a C11 is now available in the starter set.

The C11 is a representative type of Japanese tank-type steam locomotive, and 381 cars were built between 1932 and 1947. During the JNR era, they were useful for both passenger and freight services and were used all over Japan, and even today they are preserved dynamically in various locations and have become popular. This product is a starter set that allows you to enjoy freight trains pulled by C11s as seen on local lines.

◆ For freight cars, we selected TORA 55000 (with load cover), WARA 1, original yellow-painted Tam 500, and WAFU 29500. You can enjoy nostalgic freight train runs with a small train formation.

◆ Features of product

• Power unit with flywheel enables the model to pull about 6 old passenger cars with interior lightings.

• The front lamp lights up when moving forward and the rear lamp lights up when moving backward.

Series 415 100s “Joban Line/JNR Standard Color” 4-Car Basic Passenger Set

https://static.pwrs.ca/product_images/331794_1.jpg

The Series 415 began production in 1971 and is an alternating-current suburban train that can operate on both AC and DC sections at both 50Hz and 60Hz frequencies. Because of the long production period, the seating arrangement and car body shape differ depending on the train number, and there is a lot of variety. The train was initially painted in rose pink, the standard paint color for DC trains, with a cream alert color on the body. However, in 1983, in conjunction with the Tsukuba Expo, a change to a new paint scheme of cream with a blue line began, and during the transitional period, some trains were seen in mixed formations with the new color.
