Kato (Japan) has announced the May 2022 Releases

Tokyo Metro Hanzomon Line Series 18000 Passenger Sets

● Series 18000 is a train which appeared in August, 2021 on Tokyo Metro Hanzomon Line. The gap between the door sill and the platform levels was reduced and the system of monitoring conditions of equipment in the moving train was introduced to realize the safe and stable operation. Besides Shibuya and Oshiage of Hanzomon line, it is operated up to Chuo Linkan of Tokyo Denentoshi Line by virtue of mutual use of the same tracks and up to Minami Kurihashi of Tobu Nikko Line and Kuki of Tobu Isezaki Line via Tobu Sky Tree Line.

◆ Product Features:

① The scale model is based on train 18102F belonging to Saginuma train depot.

② The purple stripe running above the windows, wheelchair and child stroller signs are represented beautifully.

③ The adoption of a coreless motor realizes even smother and quieter movement

④ Head/taillights and front display lamps light up using white LEDs. The “raindrop” pattern of the headlights when illuminated is represented.

⑤ DCC friendly.

Unitram Starter Set Hiroden 1000 LRV

● The Unitram Starter Set is a set that combines a track, power pack, and rolling stock in one package, allowing you to easily recreate a streetcar-run cityscape. The starter set will consist of an oval of Unitram tracks and the surrounding streets only. No additional street tracks or background will be included to streamline the packaging and product, but making it different from the previous starter set releases 40-900/901

■ The train in the starter set has car No. 1006 with the front destination display "5 Hiroshima Port (Ujina)".

Starter Set EF210 Container Train

● A starter set of container freight train will appear from Kato, loaded with 40’ sea freight containers and pulled by electric locomotive EF210 300, a main strength freight train locomotive which is deployed on Tokaido and Sanyo mainlines among others. The locomotive is featured by the yellow stripe and the folklore hero “Cherry Boy” character. The 40 foot high cube container of “ONE” (Ocean Network Express) is distinctive with the bright magenta color which will make a strong accent when combined into a container train.

◆Product Features:

① The freight cars in the set are KOKI 107 x 2 cars (KOKI 107 329 and KOKI 107 463). They are the same as those included in #10-1433 KOKI 107 X 2 freight car set without container in the specifications. Reflectors for KOKI 107 are included.

② The loaded containers consist of a 40 foot high- cube container with the characteristic logo “ONE” on the bright magenta body and a 19D container (New Color), a familiar container for container trains, that allows you to enjoy a variable formation of a freight train.

④ The included power pack is the handy“ Power Pack Standard SX” with high output power of 1.2A and the “AC Adaptor dedicated for starter sets”.

⑤ A set of oval Unitrack corresponding to the M1 oval track set is included.

40ft High Cube Container - 2 pcs. - Ocean Network Express (ONE) - Magenta

ISO tank containers are tank-shaped containers for transporting liquids and gases, and are compliant with ISO (International Organization for Standardization) standards. It can be operated efficiently by utilizing cleaning facilities and is used to transport a wide variety of items from chemicals to food products. EF210-300 Electric Locomotive

The EF210 300 series is a DC electric locomotive that is active mainly on the Tokaido Main Line and Sanyo Main Line as the main freight transport machine.

With the yellow belt on the side and the character design of Momotaro, and equipped with a large-capacity coupler with a shock absorber, the body length is 400 mm longer than the 100 series, and the shape around the skirt is different.

N gauge starter set EF210 container train is a starter set that allows you to easily enjoy freight trains for container transportation by sea.
