The Series 211-0, a typical suburban- type stainless steel train that appeared in the late JNR and early JR era is receiving a renewal! The train was operated in either 10- or 15-car formations, with a 10-car basic formation incorporating two first- class cars and a 5-car auxiliary formation.
・The rooftop ventilator is recreated as a separate part. The cooler on SARO 212 is an AU713 type.
・The head- and taillights are recreated in the same size. All front cars' head- and taillights, as well as the front display are illuminated and can be switched off to change consists.
・The power unit uses a slotless motor and, in consideration of combined operations, auxiliary consists are not equipped with traction tires.
・DCC friendly.
With this run, this article will now use a slotless motor in its power unit, thanks to which it can run even smoother and quieter. Additionally, each set has a new number, and the 5-Car Auxiliary Set now has platform detection equipment at its lower front part.

The EF56 was created in 1937 and, together with the EF57, was a representative passenger DC electric locomotive of the prewar JNR with a bold style, sporting decks in the rear and front. This model is ideal to recreate local trains with old passenger coaches or the freight trains as they could be seen on the Tohoku Main Line by joining it with single freight cars or the 10-898 Mail/Freight Train "Tohoku" 6-Car Set, which is simultaneously receiving a re- run. Among the DD51s for Hokkaido, KATO has turned the vermilion orange JR Freight Color version and blue Renewal Color A version into models.
The DD51, of which 649 cars have been produced since 1962, is a diesel locomotive representing JNR, which was used on the main line. In regions where snow falls, such as Hokkaido, the Cold Region A Version with its characteristic Clear View Screens were deployed. KATO is releasing the DD51 in the Renewal Color A version and the JR Freight version, which were active in the Hokkaido area. You can enjoy using them for double-heading your favorite freight cars.

The Koki 50000 is a general-purpose container freight car, which was manufactured during the JNR era and is capable of carrying five 12-ft containers or three 20-ft containers. It remained the main container freight car after the transition to JR untilMarch 2018, when it was replaced by the Koki 100 series. It is a perfect match for the simultaneously sold UR19A Container and the DD51 Late Stage.
・The frame shape of the flat deck car with light gray trucks (TR223G) is accurately molded, with piping and other parts visible through the frame. Enjoy the precise appearance as well as the stable running performance even when the car is not loaded with containers.

KATO presents the UR19A container owned by Japan Oil Transportation Co., Ltd. in a new variation with the JOT logo and blue band. Those with a ventilation device on board were produced 601 times between 2002 and 2003. Afterwards they also appeared in different shapes and are now being used all over Japan.
