HO Scale Hawker Siddeley 4550 cu. ft. 4 Bay Cylindrical Hoppers

North American Railcar Corporation is pleased to announce a new run of the 2008 scheme Saskatchewan Grain Car Corporation Hawker Siddeley 4550 cu. ft. 4 Bay Cylindrical Hopper in HO Scale. This car, which features a very distinctive and attractive paint scheme is a frequent request of our customers. Our first run of these cars was very popular and sold out in a relatively short period of time.

This release is scheduled for July of this year and will feature 12 new road numbers for both Canadian National & Canadian Pacific.

Together with our previously announced 2011 scheme Saskatchewan Grain Car Corporation Hawker Siddeley 4550 cu. ft. 4 Bay Cylindrical Hoppers scheduled for July 2012, this offers a total of 48 new road numbers in these distinctive schemes. With 24 new road numbers for Canadian National & Canadian Pacific, it is easy to build a unit grain train in one order.

2011 Saskatchewan Grain Car Scheme

Note the lack of exclamation point after Saskatchewan and change in sill lettering from the 2008 version to this 2011 version, the "DO NOT HAMMER ON SIDES OF CAR" is now in the same orange as the flowers.

In addition to the 2008 and 2011 schemes for Saskatchewan Grain Car Corporation, we also have limited supplies of our "Heritage" Saskatchewan Grain Car Corporation Hawker Siddeley 4550 cu. ft. 4 Bay Cylindrical Hoppers in stock. With 12 road numbers for both Canadian National & Canadian Pacific, modelers can easily build a complete consist of up to 36 cars with the three schemes that are currently in use.

As with all North American Railcar products, these numbers have been carefully researched to ensure accuracy and will not be repeated. Final cost for these cars has not been determined yet, they are expected to be competitively priced and in line with previous releases.
