GWR Class 800/3 9-Car Set

● Item Introduction

The Class 800, introduced as a replacement for the old HST (High-Speed Train) under the UK’s Intercity Express Program (IEP), is a vehicle developed by Hitachi. It was manufactured at Hitachi's Kasaoka Works in Yamaguchi Prefecture and the Hitachi Rail UK factory based on the company's “A-train” series concept. This bi-mode train can operate on both electrified and non- electrified sections. The model features a 9-car set of the Class 800/3, which includes characteristics not found in the previous 5-car sets, such as an inner-frame bogie, a simpler roof design for intermediate cars, and first-class cars in the middle of the train.

◆ The Class 800/3 from Great Western Railway (GWR) is now available in N gauge. Enjoy the dynamic performance of this high-speed train set along with the sound card .

◆ Product Features

• Models the GWR Class 800/3 set, specifically the 800313 unit.

• Reproduces the corporate color of moss green on the doors, roof, body extensions, and end panels. Also accurately depicts the orange pinstripes for overhead wire warning found on British railway vehicles.

• Shows differences around door switches and emergency handle areas at the ends of the car.

• Features inner-frame bogies on cars 4 and 6 and a simple roof design without equipment between the air conditioning units.

• Includes the "GWR" logo on the front, which was not present at the initial launch, and replicates the identification markings around the first-class headlight on the front.

• Head and tail lights illuminate, with both upper and lower marker lights on when the headlight is active.

• Uses a slotless motor for smooth and quiet operation, with traction tires on the powered bogies.

• Features body-mounted couplers for the intermediate connections.

• Scale is 1/148, with a minimum curve radius of R282.

• Includes two large 5-car book-style cases.

This trolley car kit allows you to reproduce the same 5-car formation as the actual car!

● Item Introduction

Realistically Crafted Train Driver and Conductor Poses Using Full-Color 3D Printing.

● An assortment of four stylish, white-gloved drivers and conductors on duty . Recreated using full-color 3D printing, these figures can be easily placed to enhance the realism of your running trains and bring your sets to life!

◆ Kato (Japan) have created figures of crew members that can embellish locomotives, electric trains, diesel trains, and passenger cars. These figures can be used not only for running vehicles in dioramas and layouts but also to add a storytelling element when placed on smaller display vehicles.

 

◆ Product Features

① Produced using full-color 3D printing, these figures precisely replicate traditional uniforms and can be used for every era from Japanese National Railways (JNR) to the present.

② Features two poses each for the driver and the conductor, who primarily work inside the train.

Driver: Two poses usable with any vehicle type, depicting the driver in action. The left hand grips the master controller while the right hand points to check signals, instruments, or switches. The white gloves visible in the enclosed driver's cab create a striking impression. The attire consists of a single suit.

Conductor: Two standing poses adaptable to various situations regardless of vehicle type. EF510 301 Electric Locomotive

● Item Introduction

◆ The EF510 300 series is a multi-system locomotive introduced as a successor to the ED76 and EF81 freight locomotives operating in Kyushu. Based on the EF510 0 series used in Honshu, it has been modified to accommodate Kyushu’s ground equipment. Additionally, it features regenerative braking for alternating current, aiming to reduce power consumption in freight railway transport as part of JR Freight's "Long-Term Vision 2030" for achieving a greener society.

◆ The latest electric locomotive for freight transport in Kyushu is now available in N gauge. Also being released are essential container freight cars such as the Koki 104 and 107. You can enjoy creating your own freight trains by adding your favorite containers.

• Introducing a new variation of the EF510, featuring the mass-production prototype 301 for Kyushu.

• Reproduces the rain gutters around the entire body, the headmark mounting brackets on the front, and distinctive features.

• Headlights are illuminated with granular LEDs for realistic front lighting.
